Thank you so much for your message! I actually really love Downton Abbey, and it’s my favorite TV show. This message made really happy, because I did notice the similarities between Mary and Matthew and Anne and Gilbert (especially in comparison to the third movie) and I’m glad I’m not the only one.

Perhaps, after I finish all the Anne moments, I could start making parallels between the two couples?

If anyone following this blog can check out Downton Abbey, they most definitely should. It’s set around the same time as Anne of Green Gables and centers around drama and romance against the backdrop of World War I.
